Dear all,

I notice the promotion of another event by Sowers Action this year - the Ancient Tea Horse Route Expedition. According to the material, it takes almost 3 months to complete the route from Xishuangbanna(Yunan) to Lhasa(Tibet). The route passes through many scenic spots, as Dali, Lijiang(and Jade Dragon Mountain), Shanggalila (or Shangri-la)...

The route is reported to be one of those used by ancient merchants for trading tea and horse. The area is also one of those with the most ethnic groups in China.

This is a charity activity which supports education development in China.

They have such arrangements that you can choose a section to join, instead of taking the whole route for 3 months. I have not been any part of it, and wonder if anyone will have a recommendation as which is a better choice if I can afford only about a week's time.

Thanks
Pony
