Simon | Monday, November 20, 2000 - 04:10 pm Yesterday, I go hiking at Da Dao Ren. Refer to the introduction in 'Hiking' part of this web site, at the entrance behind the 'construction site', I found that grass is so dense that it's nearly impossible to locate the path. However, there's an easy path. Just walk in eastern direction ( direction towards Tai Po ) along 'Lam Kam Road' from the contrustion site entrance for a short distance, you will then see an obvious footpath and a someway hidden signboard on your left side. This is the entrance of the main footpath towards Da Dao Ren. Notice that the '?' mark on the map just indicates the signboard. |

dumpling_eel | Wednesday, July 04, 2001 - 02:18 am Could you tell me the route to approach "Da Dao Ren" from Tin Shui Wai or Quarry Bay to commence for hiking? By the bus or train? |
anthony fung, hkadventurer | Saturday, July 14, 2001 - 02:34 am dumpling_eel One of the starting points of Dai Dao Ren is at Lam kam Rd, near Kadoorie Farm. U can take any bus from Tin Shu Wai to yuen Long. Then u can change a bus at Yuen Long (Kei Shuang Rd bus terminus) (right at the center of Yuen Long) 64K. The bus goes to Tai Po KCR. And you can get off at Kardooie farm. |
