I think difficulty classification of Sharp Peak and Da Dao Ren should be reversed, i.e., Sharp Peak should be 2 stars and Da Dao Ren 1 star.

Path of Da Dao Ren is clear and wide. For Sharp Peak, part going up the peak is steep while the path going down from Mai Fen Teng is full of small stones such that it's easy for us to slip.

Agree that Sharp Peak should be a bit more difficult.

Dear Simon,

We've changed the grading already. Thank you for opinion.

hi,

i have done the sharp peak a few times and the most enjoyable experience i have was when i did it in the middle of a typhoon. we were walking down the narrow ridge towards the 'wind blowing gap' and had to stop and hold onto rocks nearby for fear of being blown off the ridge.

i remember there were a lot of british soldiers camping along the ridge. think that was a good location for spoting IIs.
