There is a minibus going from Yuen Long to a place near the starting point (You may recognise a minbus sign on the map shown in our article- that is the minibus terminal near the stream). I can't remember the exact minibus no. and the street that you can find it.
Can anybody help?

I'm sorry. I also cannot recall the exact minibus number. I can only recall that the minibus Yuen Long terminus is not on the Castle Peak Road.

It is somewhere inside one of the "wai". I think the people there could show you the way.

If you're new to stream hiking, please reserve plenty of time for this trip.

The minibus goes to Ha Pak Nai from Yuen Long town (Tai Fung Street, near eastern end of Yuen Long Estate). Actually the minibus is a 24-seater that is mainly used by villagers along Deep Bay Road.
Be careful that the terminus of this bus is well inside Ha Pak Nai village, and is not along the Deep Bay Road i.e. not at the bus sign appearing on the 2000 version of Northwest NT map any more. You need to walk along Deep Bay Road for about 20 min before getting to the start point of the stream, i.e the place used to be called Tai Shui Hang, now just outside the big landfill site. You can still enter the stream at the bridge at the entrance to the landfill.
Don't worry about the landfill, you won't see it after a few minutes into the stream.
